#TIGERFORTAETAE is a collaboration project between Noona Meroyan & Elle. The idea is to collect some fund for tiger conservation effort in Malaysia.
Why Tiger?
Because to us ARMY, we always associate Taehyung with tiger. He also use tiger emoji in his tweet to tell people its him, Taehyung is our tiger cub.
For us Malaysian, tiger means a lot too. Tiger is our national animal, tiger is always there in many national symbol like our emblem, even our national football team nickname is Harimau Malaya. Malayan Tiger had been classified as Critically Endangered with less than 300 left in the wild. If we as Malaysian do nothing about this, who will?
Thats why we choose tiger for Kim Taehyung birthday project in December.

| 1st Project: Tiger Symbolic Adoption from WWF-Malaysia |
Elle tweeted about our project on 30th November 2018 to kickstart the project. With minimum donation of RM10, we target RM300 for a symbolic tiger adoption at WWF Malaysia. Slowly we gain momentum & by 3th December we achieved the target. Donation send to WWF.

| 2nd Project: #TREES4TIGER for MYCAT |
The sudden Retweet & support from International ARMY surprised us. We continue to accept donation & setup a Paypal account for international donation. MYCAT or The Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers is our next project. They are planting trees to protect the tigers and their habitat. Our target is to plant 23 trees for Taehyung 23th birthday.
In only 5 days, we achieved our target with both Malaysian & international ARMY donations. #TREES4TIGER

| 3rd Project Symbolic Tiger Adoption from Zoo Negara |
Next, we able to get in touch with Zoo Negara and collected around RM 300 for a symbolic tiger adoption at National Zoo of Malaysia. All donations to Zoo Negara were sent on 13th December 2018 & we offically close the form for donation.

We had received all fanletter from donor through email which we printed out and also by post (even from Australia!) and pack it nice with all 3 certificate for Taehyung. The parcel with registered tracking number is on its way to tiger appa aka Mr Kim Taehyung.

Conclusion
We were surprised with all support, donations from ARMY all over the world. As of today, the first tweet had been retweeted 800+ times. We are very happy with this good deeds and effort from everyone. Its nice to see how Kpop & BTS specifically able to unite us all & encouraged us to do good.
Elle & Noona would like to thank everyone who retweet, comment, translate, share and donate for this good cause. Maybe one day we can do this again & adopt a real Malayan Tiger here in Malaysia. Also thank you to above organization & others for their cooperation.
And to our hero, Mr Kim Taehyung, thank you for existing, thank you for making us ARMY become friends with each other, thank you for inspiring us to be a better person. Wishing all happiness and good health to you and may we meet again in the future.
